Report

The Travellers' Series provides a step between sailing at a single club and the circuit of Regional Championships.
Sixty two boats, and perhaps a hundred and thiry sailors took part.
Six boats took part in the four events required to complete the series.
I was delighted to see Brightlingsea back in the series after a break of several years. The results at their home club showed that the rest
of us have a lot to learn about open water, sea currents and plain boat speed!
Please get in touch with dates of Open Meetings next year, and ideas or offers to improve the series.
I would very much like to see the Travellers' Series more closely connected with the Class Association's training events.
